Prohibited Items List
BLVD Moving – What Not to Put on the Truck
(A quick-reference guide for customers who’ve never moved before)
Why some things can’t ride along
- Perishables spoil fast. Fruit, veggies, frozen food, or half-opened dry goods can leak, mold, or attract pests.
- Hazardous materials are illegal to haul. Explosives, flammables, and many household chemicals can ignite or corrode other freight.
- High-value personal items are safer with you. Think cash, passports, laptops, jewelry, and vital paperwork.
- BLVD liability ends here. Anything on this list that sneaks onto the truck travels at your own risk; any spills or damage void claims.
Exception: If your entire trip is ≤ 150 miles and delivery happens within 24–48 hours, your crew may agree to take tightly sealed perishables—but only with advance approval.
